ALL HALLOWS EVE IS ON ITS WAY

We are looking forward to October and its fun on halloween with our grandson, lots of cauldron stirring and spooky tales to tell.

The cottages often get very busy at this time and the start of November with people with timid dogs booking in to get away from the noise of Fireworks in the Towns. We always make a special exception for these bookings, making no extra charge for these frightened pets.

Our birman girl Spellbound has given birth to 3 gorgeous kittens, and our Egyptian female kitten is growing into a superb girl, and ready for the show bench soon.

The Herdwick lambs made good weight and have been butchered, a local firm called Taste Tradition dealt with them this time and we were really pleased with the joints and the presentation. The new tup arrives today from Cumbria, so his ladies are eagerly awaiting their new suitor!!

Audrey has been gathering Rosehips for Rosehip wine, and making batches of picallily, and trays of Parkin.

The big tidy up for winter has started outside in the gardens and fields. So we are busy as usual.
